The jury consists of nine experts who will will evaluate entries in the 6th International LafargeHolcim Awards for the region of Middle East Africa.

About 80 of the HIKMA complex’s workforce were individually presented with a memento from the LafargeHolcim Foundation: an LED squeeze flashlight that generates its own electricity supply.

Oumou is a young graduate from Ibn Khaldoun University in Tunisia who has worked in Niger and Senegal. She it committed to an architecture that fits its intended users and respects their narratives. An architecture that relies on simplicity to produce richness.
